What is Call Logo Branding?

Call Logo Branding allows you to display your company logo and name on recipient's mobile devices during outbound calls. Alongside branded caller ID, Logo Branding can help improve answer rates by providing familiar brand identification to recipients in phone calls. Regal integrates with all major carriers to support this service.

Please note that logo branding delivery will differ based on the carrier and recipient’s phone model. In general, about 50-70% of recipient devices are eligible to receive logo branded calls.

If you're interested in Call Logo Branding, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager to get set up.

How does Call Logo Branding Work?

When agents make outbound calls with Call Logo Branding enabled, Regal makes a request to the carrier to brand the call with a logo prior to the call being placed. If the recipient has an eligible device, the carrier will fetch the logo associated with the FROM number and displays the corresponding logo. If in addition, you have branded caller ID set up, your business name will also appear alongside the logo on the recipient’s call screen, helping them recognize your business before answering.

How to Set Up Call Logo Branding

Step 1: Submit your Company Logo(s) and Associated Phone Numbers for Each Carrier to Regal

First, Regal must submit your logo files and associated phone numbers to the carriers for approval. Logos must be shared in a specific format, and some carriers allow use of multiple logos. Each carrier has specific requirements:

      1. T-Mobile:
        • Logo format: SVG format only
        • Size requirements: 1:1 aspect ratio, maximum 200KB
        • Multiple logos can be submitted; only one logo may be used for each phone number
      2. Verizon:
        • Logo format: JPG or PNG with solid background (no transparency)
        • Size requirements: Minimum 500 x 500 pixels, maximum 300KB
        • Multiple logos can be submitted with reasoning; approval is on a case-by-case basis
      3. AT&T:
        • Logo format: JPG, PMG, or BMP with solid background (no transparency)
        • Size requirements: 256 x 256 pixels or 1:1 aspect ratio
        • Limited to one logo

Step 2: Carrier Approval

Once submitted, logos must be approved by the carriers. Each carrier follows their own logo approval process, which involves verifying your brand and logo legitimacy. Non- standard logos (e.g. a compilation of images/logos) have a higher risk of being rejected.

On average, carriers take about 1 week for the approval process, though some may take longer.

Step 3: Feature Activation

Once your submissions are approved, each carrier will provision the logo(s) with the corresponding phone numbers and Regal will activate Call Logo Branding in your account. Your Customer Success Manager will notify you when carrier approval is received and set-up is complete.
